Shuniah Police Services Board

THAT as per the Shuniah Police Service Board Procedural By-law No. 3-2008, Section 4.1 that Robert Van Natto be elected as Chairperson of the Board for the year 2019.

That the Agenda be accepted as presented.

THAT the minutes of the Police Services Board meeting held on November 17, 2018 be adopted as circulated.

THAT the Shuniah Police Services Board has received a request under the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FIPPA), Municipal Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (MFIPPA) and/or the Personal Health Information Protection Act (PHIPA), requesting its statistics be submitted to the Office of the Information Privacy Commissioner (IPC); THEREFORE, the Secretary is hereby directed to submit a report prior to February 28, 2018, informing IPC that the Board has not received any freedom of information requests during the 2018 calendar year.

THAT the 2019 Membership fees for the Ontario Association of Police Services Board (OAPSB) be paid in the amount of $752.62.

THAT the following persons are hereby authorized to attend the Ontario Association of Police Services Board’s Spring Conference being held in Windsor Ontario on May 22ndto 25th 2019 and that their expenses be paid according to policy: Don Smith, Karen Cameron Powell, Robert Van Natto

That we adjourn at the hour of 5:50 pm to meet in closed session to discuss personnel matters with respect to the Annual Review of the Detachment Commander.

THAT at the hour of 5:55 pm, we resume meeting in open session.

That the hour of 6:20 pm having arrived the meeting adjourned.
