Councillor Donna Blunt THAT the Minutes of the Regular Meeting of Council held May 8, 2017 be adopted as circulated and that same be filed in the Clerk's Office.

Councillor Duff Stewart THAT the Minutes of the Public Meeting of Council held May 8, 2017 be adopted as circulated and that same be filed in the Clerk's Office

Councillor Donna Blunt THAT Council hereby receives a copy of the Minutes of the Committee of Adjustment meeting held February 8, 2017 and a copy of same be filed in the Clerk's office.

Councillor Duff Stewart THAT Council hereby directs the Clerk to set a public meeting for zoning application Z 6/16

Councillor Donna Blunt THAT the request for tender to Winter Sand Control be, submitted by Esko Savela and Sons in the amount of $ 47,520.00 excluding HST BE ACCEPTED.

Councillor Duff Stewart THAT Council hereby receives a copy of the 2017 Quarterly Financial Statements and a copy of same be filed in the Clerk's Office.

Councillor Duff Stewart THAT A by-law to amend By-law 2038-00 site specific to allow for an accessory sauna to be located in front of the main dwelling on Lot 9 Plan 451 is deemed to have been read a First and Second time this 23rd day of May, 2017.

Councillor Duff Stewart THAT A by-law to authorize an agreement with the Minister of Community Safety and Correctional Services , the Municipality of Shuniah and the Shuniah Police Services Board (1,000 Officers Program) is deemed to have been read a First and Second time this 23rd day of May, 2017

Councillor Donna Blunt BE IT RESOLVED THAT A by-law to authorize an agreement with the Minister of Community Safety and Correctional Services , the Municipality of Shuniah and the Shuniah Police Services Board (1,000 Officers Program) , is deemed to have been read a Third and Final time this 23rd Day of May 2017, and numbered 2954-17; AND THAT the said by-law be engrossed in the By-law Book

Councillor Duff Stewart THAT Council hereby receives the letter from the MTO responding to Council's resolution 1054-16 supporting a review by the MTO of a land owners request for an entrance off of Mackenzie Station Road within the designated MTO controlled access corridor and a copy of same be filed in the Clerk's office.

Councillor Donna Blunt THAT Council hereby receives a copy of the list of Unfinished Business dated May 18, 2017 and that same be filed in the Clerk’s Office.

Councillor Ron Giardetti THAT, in accordance with Section 239(2) of the Municipal Act, we adjourn at the hour of 5:25 p.m. to Page 5 of 6 Regular Council May 23, 2017 meet in closed session to discuss a) To discuss the possible acquisition of land.

Councillor Ron Giardetti THAT at the hour of 6:20 p.m. Council resumes the meeting in open session.

Councillor Duff Stewart THAT a By-law to confirm the proceedings of Council be read a First, Second and Third time on this day of 23rd day of May, 2017 and Numbered 2955-17; AND THAT the said By-law be engrossed in the By-law Book.
