Ron Giardetti THAT this Regular Meeting of Council is hereby called to order at 4:06 p.m.

Councillor Don Smith THAT the agenda be accepted as presented.

Ron Giardetti Page 1 of 7 Regular Council June 13, 2017 THAT the Minutes of the Regular Meeting of Council held May 23, 2017 be adopted as circulated and that same be filed in the Clerk's Office.

Councillor Don Smith That Council hereby directs the Clerk to draft an amending By-law to include a Holding symbol under By-law 2038-00 to the Community Residential Zone for the purpose of setting out conditions related to Blocks 1 to 12 of the proposed subdivision owned by Lakeshore Development on Lakeshore Drive. AND Further that a public meeting be set as per the Planning Act.

Councillor Ron Giardetti THAT Council hereby receives the report regarding the deeming of Lots 3 and 4 Plan 756 out of the plan of subdivision and the application to purchase the shoreline abutting same; AND FURTHER THAT Council hereby directs the Clerk to bring forward a deeming bylaw and a by- law to purchase the shoreline road allowance as applied for.

Councillor Don Smith THAT Council hereby awards the sole source quote for the annual line painting to Northwest Lines Ltd. In accordance with the vendor supplied quotation with an upset amount not to exceed the Page 2 of 7 Regular Council June 13, 2017 approved 2017 Capital Budget amount of $35,000.

Councillor Ron Giardetti That Council hereby authorizes a by-law to execute the transfer of Municipal lands described as Part 1 Plan 55R 14238 to the MTO for highway improvements.

Councillor Don Smith THAT Council hereby receives the Fire Chief's report dated June 8, 2017 AND FURTHER THAT Council hereby approves the appointment of Mr. Risto Pulkki & Mr. Chris Cameron to the Shuniah Fire and Emergency Services.

Councillor Don Smith THAT Council hereby receives the Monthly Financial Statements for May 2017 and a copy of same be filed in the Clerk's Office

Councillor Don Smith THAT Council rescinds and replace the 2017 Budget with revised tax rate calculations and new railway class rates.

Councillor Ron Giardetti THAT Council hereby directs the Clerk to bring forward a by-law to amend the policies and procedures required to collect past-due tipping fees and other outstanding user fees by transferring outstanding balances owing onto the tax roll.

Councillor Don Smith THAT Council hereby receives the 2016 Municipal Audited Financial Statements and a copy be filed in the Clerk's Office.

Ron Giardetti THAT A by-law to authorize the transfer of Municipal lands to the Ministry of Transportation is deemed to have been read a First and Second time this 13th day of June 2017.

Councillor Don Smith THAT A by-law to authorize the transfer of Municipal lands to the Ministry of Transportation is deemed to have been read a Third and Final time this 13th Day of June 2017, and numbered 2956-17; AND THAT the said by-law be engrossed in the By-law Book.

Ron Giardetti THAT A by-law to amend By-law 2941-17 Schedule "A" a by-law to adopt the 2017 Budget is deemed to have been read a First and Second time this 13th day of June 2017.

Councillor Don Smith THAT A by-law to amend By-law 2941-17 Schedule "A" a by-law to adopt the 2017 Budget is deemed to have been read a Third and Final time this 13th Day of June 2017, and numbered 2957-17: AND THAT the said by-law be engrossed in the By-law Book.

Ron Giardetti THAT Council hereby receives the following items of General Correspondence and a copy of same be filed in the Clerk's office. a) LRCA Audited Financial Statements b) Letter from Seppo Paivalainen re: Entrance Mackenzie Station Rd c) Letter from Norm Miller MPP- Perry Sound-Muskoka d) Copy of the Letter to Robert Katajamaki from Ministry of Community and Social Services re: Governance and Accountability e) SAI Global re: Forest Management Audit to the National Boreal Standard on the Dog River- Matawin and Black Spruce Forest f) OPP Billing Survey

Councillor Don Smith THAT Council hereby receives a copy of the list of Unfinished Business dated June 8, 2017 and that same be filed in the Clerk’s Office.

Councillor Don Smith THAT, in accordance with Section239(2) of the Municipal Act, we adjourn at the hour of 4:50 pm to meet in closed session to discuss a) To discuss the possible acquisition of land
