Stewart THAT this Regular Meeting of Council is hereby called to order at 4:00 pm

Blunt THAT the agenda be accepted as presented.

Stewart THAT the Minutes of the Regular Meeting of Council held February 13, 2018 be adopted as circulated and that same be filed in the Clerk's Office.

Blunt THAT the Minutes of the Special Meeting of Council held February 6, 2018 be adopted as circulated and that same be filed in the Clerk's Office

Stewart THAT Council hereby receives the Monthly Building Permit report and a copy of same be filed in the Clerk's Office

Donna Blunt THAT with respect to an Official Plan Amendment Application submitted by Syl Menic on behalf of Gord and Deborah Porter as it applies to ML 13 E & Pt. Water Lot in front of 55R10743 Pts 1 & 2, we concur and authorize the preparation and circulation of the necessary notice and Official Plan Amendment as required, AND THAT the Public Meeting for the OPA#13 for the above noted property be scheduled as per the requirements of the Planning Act.

Donna Blunt That Council hereby receives the Planning Report from the Clerk regarding the Zoning Application for a site-specific amendment to allow for a 2-unit dwelling at 652 Lakeshore Drive AND FURTHER that a notice and a public meeting be set per the Planning Act.

Stewart THAT Council hereby moves the Regular meeting of Council from Tuesday March 27 at 4:00 pm to Monday March 26, 2018 at 4:00 pm

Donna Blunt THAT Council hereby receives the memo from Susan Moore, Treasurer which summarizes the 2017 Budget to Actual Variances for operations.

Smith THAT Council hereby receives a copy of the Monthly expenditures report for February 2018 and a copy of same be filed in the Clerk's Office.

Stewart THAT Council hereby receives the Financial Statements to December 31. 2017 and a copy of same be filed in the Clerk's Office

Blunt THAT Council hereby receives the Lakehead Region Conservation Authority Levy Request and a copy of same be filed in the Clerk's Office

THAT Council hereby receives the letter from Minister Kathryn Page 5 of 7 Regular Council March 13, 2018 McGarry, Minister of Transportation regarding the request made to the Ministry of Transportation to conduct an independent safety audit of the intersections within Shuniah along the new Highway 11/17 4 lane corridor. AND FURTHER THAT a copy of this letter be forwarded to the Shuniah Police Services Board who also suggested this audit be conducted and supported Council in their endeavour to the Ministry to undertake an independent safety audit of these intersection in light of several fatal accidents that have occurred since the new highway was opened.

THAT Council hereby receives a copy of the list of Unfinished Business dated March 8, 2018 and that same be filed in the Clerk’s Office.

THAT a By-law to confirm the proceedings of Council be read a First, Second and Third time on this 13th day of March, 2018 and Numbered 3006-18 AND THAT the said By-law be engrossed in the By-law Book.
