Regular Council

THAT this Regular Meeting of Council is hereby called to order at 4:00 pm

THAT the agenda be accepted as presented.

THAT the Minutes of the Regular Meeting of Council held June 11, 2018 be adopted as circulated and that same be filed in the Clerk's Page 1 of 6 Regular Council June 26, 2018 Office.

Blunt THAT Council directs the Clerk to bring forward a by-law to authorize the sale of the portions of the shoreline road allowance abutting Lot 74 and Pt Lot 75 Plan 758.

Smith That Council receives the report from Administration on the Residential Tenancies Act as it relates to the Municipality of Shuniah AND FURTHER THAT Council directs the Clerk to bring forward a by-law to appoint an inspector (s).

Blunt That Council receives the report on the wage rate recommendation for the position of Recreation Coordinator and that the rate be changed in accordance with the wage schedule presented.

Stewart THAT Council hereby supports the alternative method of Page 3 of 6 Regular Council June 26, 2018 appointment for Area One representation to the District Social Services Board being that either one or two of the seats would be filled on a rotational basis and the remaining seat or seats would be filled by an election decided by each respective Council.

Donna Blunt THAT Council hereby receives the report from the Treasurer and hereby directs the Clerk to bring forward a by-law to amend By-law 2535-11 to increase the remuneration of Council as recommended in the report.

THAT a by-law to authorize the Mayor and Clerk to enter into an agreement with Her Majesty the Queen in right of Ontario as represented by the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Sport for funding through an Ontario Transfer Payment Agreement is hereby deemed to be read a First and Second time this 26th day of June 2018

THAT a by-law to authorize the Mayor and Clerk to enter into an agreement with Her Majesty the Queen in right of Ontario as represented by the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Sport for funding through an Ontario Transfer Payment Agreement is deemed to have been read a Third and Final time and numbered 3025-18. AND THAT the said by-law be engrossed in the by-law book

THAT Council hereby receives a copy of the list of Unfinished Business dated June 21, 2018 and that same be filed in the Clerk’s Office.

THAT at the hour of 5:10 pm Council hereby moves into closes meeting to discuss legal matters

THAT Council hereby adjourns the closed meeting and resumes the regular meeting to open session at 5:20 pm.

THAT a By-law to confirm the proceedings of Council be read a First, Second and Third time on this 26th day of June 2018 and Numbered 3026-18. AND THAT the said By-law be engrossed in the By-law Book.

THAT the hour of 5:23 p.m. having arrived this regular Meeting of Council hereby adjourns.
