Stewart THAT this Regular Meeting of Council is hereby called to order at 4:09 pm

Blunt THAT the agenda be accepted as presented.

THAT the Minutes of the Regular Meeting of Council held July 10th be adopted as circulated and that same be filed in the Clerk's Office.

Donna Blunt THAT Council hereby receives the report from Jason Evans, CEDO AND further that Council approves the selection of gck Consulting Inc. for the completion of the Shuniah Tourism Strategy upon receiving of approval of funding from the province.

Stewart THAT Council hereby awards the 2018-2020 Landfill Sampling and Monitoring Program to North Rock Environmental in the amount of $35,300.00 plus HST.

Stewart THAT Council hereby authorizes the renewal of the Heavy Load Permit agreement with the same terms and financial surety requirements as previously issued.

Smith THAT Council hereby approves the purchase of 5 ipads for use by Committee's of Council to be utilized for online agendas during meetings AND FURTHER THAT the ipads are to remain at the Municipal Office.

THAT a by-law to authorize a Municipal Funding Agreement for the transfer of Main Streets Revitalization Initiatives is read a first and second time this 14th day of August 2018

THAT a by-law to authorize a Municipal Funding Agreement for the transfer of Main Streets Revitalization Initiatives is read a third and final time this 14th day of August 2018 and numbered 3029-18; AND THAT the said by-law be engrossed in the by-law book.

THAT Council hereby receives a copy of the following items of General Page 4 of 6 Regular Council August 14, 2018 Correspondence a) Notice of Study Commencement Hwy 11/17 four laning Pearl Lake easterly b) Revised Draft TOR for Hydro One Lake Superior Link project 2018 c) Certified list of School Board Candidates

THAT Council hereby receives a copy of the list of Unfinished Business dated August 10, 2018, and that same be filed in the Clerk’s Office.

THAT, in accordance with Section 239(2) of the Municipal Act, we adjourn at the hour of 5:55 pm to meet in closed session to discuss a) To discuss labour relations- mediation and bargaining.

THAT at the hour of 6:15 pm, we resume meeting in open session.

THAT a By-law to confirm the proceedings of Council be read a First, Second and Third time on this 14th day of August 2018 and Numbered 3030-18 AND THAT the said By-law be engrossed in the By-law Book.

THAT the hour of 6:15 p.m. having arrived this regular Meeting of Council hereby adjourns.
