Regular Council

Stewart THAT this Regular Meeting of Council is hereby called to order at 4:pm

Blunt THAT the agenda be accepted as presented.

Stewart THAT the Minutes of the Regular Meeting of Council held September 25, 2018 be adopted as circulated and that same be filed in the Clerk's Office.

Stewart THAT Council hereby receives a copy of the Minutes of the Tender Opening Committee and same be filed in the Clerk's Office.

Blunt THAT Council hereby receives a copy of the Minutes Police Services Board Meeting held June 25, 2018 and same be filed in the Clerk's Office.

Giardetti THAT Council receives a copy of the report for the usage at O'Connor Point for the 2018 season and same be filed in the Clerk's Office.

Stewart THAT Council hereby receives a copy of the September 2018 Building Permit Summary Report and same be filed in the Clerk's Office.

Giardetti THAT Council hereby awards the tender for the Annual Visual Bridge Inspection to KGS Group in the amount of $4,250 excl. HST

Stewart THAT the tender for the West Loon Lake Engineering Feasibility Study for West Loon Road be awarded to True Grit Engineering in the amount of $36,000.00 plus HST

Giardetti THAT Council approves the early closure of the Municipal Office, Public Works Shop and Fire Department Administration from December 24th up to and including New Years Day; AND THAT regular business will recommence on January 2, 2019; AND FURTHER THAT the Public Works Staff and Fire Personnel are available throughout this time line as required.

Stewart THAT Council hereby receives a copy of the Monthly Expenditures for September 2018 and same be filed in the Clerk's Office.

Giardetti THAT Council hereby receives a copy of the OPP Monthly Report and same be filed in the Clerk's Office.

Stewart THAT Council hereby receives a copy of the list of Unfinished Business and that same be filed in the Clerk’s Office.

Giardetti THAT pursuant to Section 239 of the Municipal Act, Council hereby adjourns the open meeting at the hour of 4:45 pm to meet in Closed Session to discuss: a) matters about identifiable individuals that may include Municipal employees or Board Members.

Stewart THAT Council hereby adjourns the closed meeting and resumes the open Regular Meeting of Council at the hour of 5:25 p.m

Giardetti THAT a By-law to confirm the proceedings of Council be read a First, Second and Third time on this 9th day of October 2018 and Numbered 3038-18 AND THAT the said By-law be engrossed in the By-law Book.

Stewart THAT the hour of 5:26 p.m. having arrived this regular Meeting of Council hereby adjourns.
