Regular Council

THAT this Regular Meeting of Council is hereby called to order at 4pm.

THAT the agenda be accepted as presented.

THAT the Minutes of the Regular Meeting of Council held August 13, 2019 be adopted as circulated and that same be filed in the Clerk's Office.

THAT the Clerk is hereby directed to bring forward a by-law to authorize the sale of the Shoreline Road Allowance lying in front of lot 44, Plan 756 (2027 Sunnyside Beach Avenue)

THAT Council received the request for deeming by-law for Lot 3 and 4 Plan 807 as per the request to purchase shoreline road allowance FURTHER directs the Clerk to bring forward a by-law to deem the Lots 3 and 4 of Plan 807 not be in a registered plan.

THAT Council received the request for deeming by-law for Lot 29 and 30 Plan 765 as per the request to purchase shoreline road allowance FURTHER directs the Clerk to bring forward a by-law to deem the Lots 29 and 30 of Plan 765 not be in a registered plan.

THAT Council received the August Building Permit Summary report and is hereby received and a copy of same be filed in the Clerk's office.

THAT Council hereby awards the 2019 Birch Beach Road Asphalt Paving to Bruno's Contracting in the amount of $316,025.00 excluding HST.

THAT Council hereby awards the 2019 Gran m Gravel Supply & Delivery Various Roads to Bruno's Contracting in the amount of $73,925.00 excluding HST.

THAT Council hereby support the Resolution from the Township of Warwick requesting that the Hon. Doug Downey work with his fellow MPP's and agricultural leaders to find a better way to ensure the safety of Ontario's farm families, employees and animals for the very reasons cited in the Warwick Motion adopted at its Regular meeting of June 17, 2019

THAT Council hereby receives the Silver Harbour Road Allowance and Mary Island Access Administration report from the CAO and that same be filed in the Clerk's Office.

THAT Council received the August Monthly Expenditure report and is hereby received an a copy of same be filed in the Clerk's office.

THAT By-law to authorize the sale of the shoreline road allowance to the owners of Plan 756, Lot 44 be read a First and Second time the 10th day of September 2019

BE IT RESOLVED THAT A By-law to authorize the sale of the shoreline road allowance to the owners of Plan 756, Lot 44 be read a Third and Final time this 10th day of September 2019 and numbered 3082-19. AND THAT the by-law be engrossed in the by-law book.

THAT a By-law to deem Lots 3 and 4 Plan 807 not be in a registered plan be read a First and Second time this 10th day of September 2019

BE IT RESOLVED THAT A By-law to deem Lots 3 and 4 Plan 807 not to be in a Registered plan be read a Third and Final time this 10 day of September 2019 and numbered 3083-19 AND THAT the said By-law be engrossed in the By-law book.

THAT a By-law to deem Lots 29 and 30 Plan 765 not be in a registered plan be read a First and Second time this 10th day of September 2019

THAT Council receive the City of Stratford Resolution and a copy of same be filed in the Clerk's Office.

THAT Council receive the City of Kitchener Resolution and a copy of same be filed in the Clerk's Office.

THAT Council receive the correspondence from NextBridge East - West Tie for upcoming construction is hereby received and a copy of same be filed in the Clerk's office.

THAT Council receives the agenda for the Thunder Bay District Municipal League meeting to be held September 14, 2019 is hereby received and a copy of same be filed in the Clerk's office.

THAT Council hereby authorizes the following persons to attend conferences as listed and their expenses be paid according to policy. Rural Ontario Municipal Association ROMA being held January 18-21st in Toronto at the Sheraton Centre 1. Wendy Landry 2. Don Smith 3. Ron Giardetti Ontario Good Roads Conference OGRA being held February 23-26th in Toronto Ontario at the Fairmont Royal York 1. Wendy Landry 2. THAT a By-law to confirm the proceedings of Council be read a First, Second and Third time on this 10th day of September 2019 and Numbered 3085-19 AND THAT the said By-law be engrossed in the By-law Book.

THAT the hour of 6:50 p.m. having arrived this regular Meeting of Council hereby adjourns.
