Regular Council

THAT this Regular Meeting of Council is hereby called to order at 4:04 p.m.

THAT the agenda be accepted as presented.

THAT the Minutes of the Regular Meeting of Council held January 14, 2020 be adopted as circulated and that same be filed in the Clerk's Office.

THAT Council hereby receives copies of the LRMC Rural Action Plan and OMPF Reform reports.

THAT Council hereby receives the first draft of the 2020 budget and various reports for discussion.

THAT a By-law to adopt the Emergency Management Act be read a First and Second time this 27th day of January 2020.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT a By-law to adopt the Emergency Management Act be read a Third and Final time and numbered 3098-20 AND THE SAID By-law be engrossed in the By-law book.

THAT a By-law to stop and permanently close a portion of shoreline road allowance described as Part 1 and 2 of Reference Plan 55R-14655 and declared as surplus and authorize the direct sale of such lands be read a First and Second time this 27th day of January 2020.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT a By-law to stop and permanently close a portion of shoreline road allowance described as Part 1 and 2 of Reference Plan 55R-14655 and declared as surplus and authorize the direct sale of such lands be read a Third and Final time this 27th day of January 2020. Numbered 3099-20

THAT Council hereby receives the following correspondence from OCIF and TBDSSAB and the same be filed in the Clerk's Office

THAT Council hereby receives a copy of the unfinished business dated January 20, 2020 and that the same be filed in the Clerk's Office.

Blunt, seconded by Councillor Don Smith Council hereby authorizes the purchase of a full table of 8 for the Conservation Fundraising Dinner on February 7, 2020 at the Da Vinci Centre, Thunder Bay and that the following persons are authorized to attend Wendy Landry Donna Blunt Sue Moore Paul Greenwood Don Smith

THAT Council hereby approves the following to attend the OPP Regional Roundtable consultation on the drafting of regulations to support the establishment of new OPP detachment boards being held at the Valhalla Inn on February 10, 2020, and that their expenses be paid according to policy. Don Smith Wendy Landry

THAT at the hour of 5:45 p.m. Council moved to In-Camera closed meeting to discuss personnel and legal issues

THAT at the hour of 6:32 p.m. Council hereby resumes the regular meeting in open session.

THAT a By-law to confirm the proceedings of Council be read a First, Second and Third time on this 27th day of January 2019 and Numbered 3100-20 AND THAT the said By-law be engrossed in the By-law Book.

THAT the hour of 6:32 p.m. having arrived this regular Meeting of Council hereby adjourns.
