Regular Council

THAT this Regular Meeting of Council is hereby called to order at 4:08 p.m.

THAT the agenda be accepted as presented.

THAT the Minutes of the Regular Meeting of Council held November 23, 2021 be adopted as circulated and that same be filed in the Clerk's Office.

THAT Council hereby receives a copy of the November Building Permit Summary and the same be filed in the Clerk's Office.

THAT Council receives this report on boot allowance and the same to be filed in the Clerk's Office.

THAT Council approves the COVID-19 Vaccination Policy and the same be filed in the Clerk's office.

THAT Council receives the report on Land use Planning empowerment and the same to be filed in the Clerk's Office.

THAT Council review the draft ROMA Program and direct the Clerk to cancel the January 25, 2022 Council Meeting.

That Council directs staff to bring forward a by-law to approve a new tariff of fees as outlined in Appendix “A” and notification as set out in By-law 2649-10; And that Council directs staff to bring forward a by-law to approve a new schedule of fees as outlined in Appendix “B” and notification as set out in By-law 2998-17.

That Council requested staff to provide information for Delegation: MOE Landfill and all delegations as requested for ROMA.

THAT a By-law to set the 2022 Interim Property Tax Rates be read a First and Second time this 14th day of December 2021.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT a By-law to set the 2022 Interim Property Tax Rates be read a Third and Final time and numbered 3207-21. AND THE SAID By-law be engrossed in the By-law book.

THAT a By-law to prescribe a tariff of fees for the processing of applications made in respect of Planning Act matters and to Repeal By-law No. 2496-10 be read a First and Second time this 14th day of December 2021.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT a By-law to prescribe a tariff of fees for the processing of applications made in respect of Planning Act matters and to Repeal By-law No. 2496-10 be read a Third and Final time and numbered 3208-21. AND THE SAID By-law be engrossed in the By-law book.

THAT a By-law to set various user fees and to repeal and replace By-law No. 2998-17 be read a First and Second time this 14th day of December 2021.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT a By-law to set various user fees and to repeal and replace By-law No. 2998-17 be read a Third and Final time and numbered 3209-21. AND THE SAID By-law be engrossed in the By-law book.

THAT Council hereby receives the following correspondence a. Thunder Bay District Health Board Meeting October 20 b. LRCA Minutes from October 27, 2021 c. NOMA Board Meeting Minutes d. City of Kitchener - Fire Safety Measures e. St. Catharines National Childcare Program Resolution f. Recidivism Rates g. TBDSSAB October Meeting Minutes and the same be filed at the Clerk's Office.

THAT Council hereby supports the attached resolution from the City of Kitchener regarding Bill C-6-2020, An Act to Amend the Criminal Code (Conversion Therapy); and BE IT RESOLVED that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to the Premier of Ontario Honourable Doug Ford, area Members of Provincial Parliament, local MP's and MPP's, the Association of Municipalities of Ontario, and all other Ontario municipalities.

THAT Council hereby receives a copy of the list of Unfinished Business dated 2021, and that same be filed in the Clerk’s Office.

THAT at the hour of 5:35 p.m. Council moved into In-Camera session discuss ...

THAT at the hour of 5:47 p.m. Council hereby resumes the regular meeting in open session.

THAT a By-law to confirm the proceedings of Council be read a First, Second and Third time on this 14th day of December 2021 and Numbered 3210-21, AND THAT the said By-law be engrossed in the By-law Book.

THAT the hour of 5:50 p.m. having arrived this regular Meeting of Council hereby adjourns.
