Regular Council

THAT this Regular Meeting of Council is hereby called to order at 4:10 p.m.

THAT the agenda be accepted as presented.

THAT the Minutes of the Regular Meeting of Council held February 22, 2022 be adopted as circulated and that same be filed in the Clerk's Office.

THAT Council hereby receives a copy of the February Building Permit Summary and the same be filed in the Clerk's Office.

THAT Council hereby receives the Firefighter Certification Memo and Firefighter Certification Report Key Comments that were be submitted to the Ontario Regulatory Registry from the municipality and the same be filed at the Clerk's Office.

THAT Mayor Landry and Councillor Smith are scheduled to attend the OGRA conference in Toronto from April 10 - 13, 2022; AND THAT Council review the draft OGRA Program and direct the Clerk to cancel the April 12, 2022 Council Meeting.

THAT Council hereby receives the report regarding the Hydro One Networks Inc agreement and directs the Clerk to bring forward a by-law to enter into an agreement with Hydro One Networks Inc. for a hydro easement along Superior Shores Place.

THAT Council hereby authorizes the following persons as listed below to attend the Thunder Bay District Municipal League Annual Meeting and Conference at the Prince Arthur Waterfront Hotel & Suites on March 24 and 25, 2022 and their expenses be paid according to policy. 1. Wendy Landry 2. Don Smith 3.Donna Blunt 4. Meghan Chomut

THAT a by-law to authorize the Municipality to enter into an Agreement with Hydro One Networks Inc for transfer of an easement for street lighting is hereby read a First and Second time this 8th day of March 2022.

THAT a by-law to authorize the Municipality to enter into an Agreement with Hydro One Networks Inc for transfer of an easement for street lighting be read a Third and Final time and numbered 3225-22 AND FURTHER THAT the By-law be engrossed in the By-law Book.

THAT Council hereby receives the following correspondence a. 2022 Farmland Forum Flyer b. Norfolk County - Year of the Garden Resolution c. NOMA - Board meeting Summary Report d. Town of Bracebridge - Hospital Funding Motion e. Thunder Bay District Board of Health Minutes f. TBDSSAB January Board Meeting Minutes g. Township of Limerick - Gypsy Moth Resolution and the same be filed at the Clerk's Office.

THAT Council hereby receives a copy of the list of Unfinished Business dated March 2, 2022, and that same be filed in the Clerk’s Office.

THAT a By-law to confirm the proceedings of Council be read a First, Second and Third time on this 8th day of March 2022 and Numbered 3226-22 AND THAT the said By-law be engrossed in the By-law Book.

THAT the hour of 4:31 p.m. having arrived this regular Meeting of Council hereby adjourns.
