Blunt THAT this Regular Meeting of Council is hereby called to order at 4:00 p.m.

THAT the agenda be accepted as presented.

Chomut THAT the Minutes of the Regular Meeting of Council held February 13, 2024 be adopted as circulated and that same be filed in the Clerk's Office.

THAT the Minutes of the Closed Meeting of Council held February 13, 2024 be adopted as circulated and that same be filed in the Clerk's Office.

Blunt THAT Council hereby receives a copy of the Minutes of the Police Services Board for January 15, 2024 and same be filed in the Clerk's Office.

Smith THAT Council hereby receives the report from the Clerk regarding a Zoning By-law Amendment request from Dan Poque under Application Z5-22; AND THAT Council hereby directs the Clerk to bring forward a by-law for the Zoning By-law Amendment to allow a sauna in front of the main dwelling.

Meghan Chomut THAT Council hereby receives the Planning Recommendation Report from the planner regarding the Lakeshore Developments Vacant Land Condominium and Zoning By-law Amendment Planning Applications and the same be filed at the Clerk's Office; AND THAT the application for Plan of Vacant Land Condominium approval and associated Zoning By-law Amendment approval be respectfully denied.

Blunt THAT Council hereby receives the Shuniah Fire & Emergency Services Updates Report from the Fire Chief and the same be filed in the Clerk's Office.

Donna Blunt THAT Council receives the Recognition of Employees 25th Anniversaries and Retirements Policy and adopts the said policy; AND THAT the same be filed in the Clerk’s Office; AND FURTHER THAT Council directstheClerk to bring forward a By-law to repeal the Recognition of Employees 25th Anniversaries and Retirements By-law 2309-08.

Blunt THAT Council request staff to provide the following to the OGRA Delegation Request:

Meghan Chomut THAT Council hereby receive a copy of the Unaudited 2023 Financial Statements and memo and the same be filed in the Clerk's Office.

THAT a by-law to Repeal the Recognition of Employees 25th Anniversaries and Retirements Policy By-law 2309-08 be read a First and Second time this 27th day of February 2024.

Blunt THAT a by-law to Repeal the Recognition of Employees 25th Anniversaries and Retirements Policy By-law 2309-08 be read a Third and Final time and numbered 3344-24. AND FURTHER THAT a by-law be engrossed in the By-law Book.

THAT Council hereby receives the following correspondence: a. TBDHU - Board Of Health Meeting Minutes - January 17, 2024 b. TBDSSAB - Regular Board Meeting Minutes - January 18, 2024 c. Coleman Township - Resolution re: Conservation Officer Page 5 of 8 Regular Council February 27, 2024 Reclassification d. Port Arthur Rotary 100th Anniversary e. AMO Advanced Councillor Training Series f. County of Renfrew - Resolution re: Affordability of Water & Wastewater Systems and the same be filed in the Clerk's Office.

Chomut THAT Council hereby receives and supports the resolution from South Bruce regarding a Comprehensive Review of Social and Economic Prosperity; AND THAT Council directs the Clerk to forward a copy of this resolution to Premier Doug Ford, Minister of Finance Peter Bethlenfalvy, MPP Lise Vaugeois, MPP Kevin Holland, and the Association of Municipalities of Ontario (AMO); AND THAT the same be filed in the Clerk's Office.

THAT Council hereby receives a copy of the list of Unfinished Business dated February 22, 2024, and that same be filed in the Clerk’s Office.

Smith THAT at the hour of 6:32 p.m. Council moves into In-Camera Session.

THAT at the hour of 6:50 p.m. Council hereby resumes the meeting in open session.

Chomut THAT a By-law to confirm the proceedings of Council be read a First, Second and Third time on this 27th day of February 2024 and Numbered 3345-24 AND THAT the said By-law be engrossed in the By-law Book.

THAT the hour of 6:55 p.m. having arrived this regular Meeting of Council hereby adjourns.
